Be Advised!

Arutz Sheva - IsraelNationalNews.com Published: 02/08/08, 10:16 AM, the following: Link to Article. Israel Prize to go to Pro-Terror, Pro-Civil War Prof. by Gil Ronen
(IsraelNN.com) This year's Israel Prize in political science will be awarded to Prof. Ze'ev Sternhell of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Education Minister Yuli Tamir announced Thursday. Sternhell has called for use of IDF tanks against Jews living in Judea and Samaria, and encouraged Arab terror attacks on the Jews living outside Israel's pre-1967 borders. Sternhell wrote in the Davar newspaper in 1988: "In the end we will have to use force against the settlers in Ofra or Elon Moreh. Only he who is willing to storm Ofra with tanks will be able to block the fascist danger threatening to drown Israeli democracy." In the Haaretz newspaper, in 2001, Sternhell said: "There is no doubt about the legitimacy of [Palestinian] armed resistance in the territories themselves. If the Palestinians had a little sense, they would concentrate their struggle against the settlements… and refrain from planting bombs west of the Green Line." The judges described Sternhell as "one of the leading scholars in the field of political thought in Israel and the world."

Rabbi Lazer Brody published on Wednesday, 13 February 2008, the following: Jews out, Arabs in! Read complete Article.
While Sderot is being maimed, the prime minister is drinking black beer in Bavaria. The foreign minister is signing away Jerusalem, Hevron, Judah, and Samaria during clandestine meetings that the Palestinian media is openly talking about with glee. Mushroom Cure for Cancer! Read complete Article. There was a man in Boro Park (BROOKLYN, NY) who was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. He asked for a frum doctor, but his insurance afforded him what they offered Japanese Doctor. It ended up, that this Doctor was a gift from heaven. After having read the article at Arutz Sheva's site and the other two articles at Rabbi Lazer Brody's Blog in the same order as they were published, at first I was upset, then I realized that it is Hashem's will that these things happen and that for all of us who put our trust in Him, He is there to aid us, in the ways we would never expect. The anti-emuna government doesn't seem Jewish at all, one would think that people that hate the Jews and everything that represents Judaism are governing Israel. But God sends suffering "as a man chastens his son" (Deuteronomy 8:5), "out of hidden love" (Proverbs 27:5). God wants us to take the initiative and do the necessary work to cleanse ourselves of the traits and behaviour that keep us from experiencing His goodness. Long before He inflicts actual suffering He sends us hints indicating that all is not in order and that we need to make changes. Sometimes we are given a sudden shock, or we lose something that is precious to us. If we are willing to stir ourselves and take responsibility, well and good. But to those who remain obtuse to such promptings, it may be necessary to send a sharper, clearer message. We better start making drastic changes in our lifestyle and get rid of all that represents assimilation and start by repenting and doing real Teshuvah by studying Torah, doing Mitzvots, start praying and clinging to Hashem with all of our strength. Presently there is a very strong spiritual war going on, let's give Heaven the necessary weapons, that is Torah study, Mitzvots, earnest and sincere Davening and Tzedakah, in order that Hashem can deal quickly with this problem, remember how Hashem dealt with King Shaul when he deviated from G_d. These Free Beams Downloads, are excellent weapons, use them and let Hashem do the rest. Tikkun HaKlali and Perek Shira in Hebrew Tikkun HaKlali and Perek Shira in English With Hashem's loving grace!

Emergency Shmiras Haloshon Campaign for 8 year old girl - update

Posted by Aryeh ben Avraham | Labels: , , , | Posted On at 15:02

Received the following from:editorial@chofetzchaimusa.org QUOTE Dear Friends and Family, Ariella is in the PICU having great difficulty breathing possibly due to the viral and fungal infections in her lungs. Please say some extra tehillim (psalms) for a refuah shelaimah for Ariella Rivka bas Devorah Pessel. We know that every word, every tear, every prayer we offer to Hashem is precious and dear to Him and that no prayer ever goes unheard. Whether we see the results we desire, or Hashem has other plans, we are changed and the world is changed for the better. When we seek Hashem with all our heart, we find peace, especially through the beautiful words of Dovid HaMelech – Kind David. With heartfelt gratitude, Deborah PS: Feel free to pass this along to whomever may be davening for Ariella. Any major changes in Ariella’s medical status will be updated on her website, www.horenstein.org/Ariella, where the spelling of Ariella’s Hebrew name as well as past and recent photos can also be found. UNQUOTE Blessings

Another Prayer for the Captive Israeli Soldiers

Posted by Aryeh ben Avraham | Labels: , , , | Posted On Wednesday, 26 September 2007 at 15:35

A Prayer for Our Captive Soldiers

Our G-d, the One who raised Joseph up from the pit, be "a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:10). Send complete rescue and full redemption to those held captive by the enemy:

  • Gilead Shalit
  • Ehud Goldwasser
  • Eldad Regev
  • (Kindly add other names)

Strengthen their spirit and bring them our prayers that they be protected from all harm. Implant understanding in the heart of the enemy that they may return the captives in wholeness of body and spirit. Grant wisdom to the Israel Defense Forces that they may secure freedom for the captives without loss of life. Grant strength of spirit and courage of heart to all the sons and daughters of Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar to release bonds of captivity and allow us all to live in freedom.

"They shall call upon Me, and I will answer them; I will be with them in distress; I will rescue them, and honor them." (after Psalm 91:15)

Hearken Klal Israel!

Posted by Aryeh ben Avraham | Labels: , , , , , | Posted On Sunday, 23 September 2007 at 19:18

PSALM 81: 9. Hearken, My people, and I shall admonish you, Israel, if you hearken to Me. 10. No strange god shall be within you, neither shall you prostrate yourself to a foreign god. 11. I am the Lord, your G_d, Who brought you up from the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide, and I shall fill it. 12. But My people did not hearken to My voice, neither did Israel desire to [follow] Me. 13. So I let them go after their heart's fantasies; let them go in their counsels. 14. If only My people would hearken to Me, if Israel would go in My ways. 15. In a short time I would subdue their enemies and upon their enemies I would return My hand. 16. The enemies of the Lord would lie to Him, and their time would be forever. 17. Then He would feed them with the fat of wheat and I would sate you with honey from a rock. Just a few words for us to ponder on regarding the above Psalm.
YOM KIPPUR has just passed. These coming days let's not revert being our old selves and really start making a change this year. Let's do the effort and get up earlier, in order to recite the Morning Prayers (Shajarit), also we should try to take some minutes before lunch, time to Daven (Minja) and at night when we get home, instead of sitting in front of the box, eating sandwiches, let's seclude ourselves and pray (Maariv) the night prayers. Let's go out of our ways to do Mitzvot. I know I'm probably making some of us uncomfortable, but please bear with me and be patient. I know that it's very difficult to break habits acquired during years but don't ever forget your holy inheritance and the fact that your soul is holy and according to Rabbi Nachman, Jews are Tzaddikim, therefore it's not really difficult for us. Let's try our very best and be ba’al/ba'at teshuvah, there is a maximal, “exemplary” form of teshuvah,” concerned with the correction or even perfection of the individual’s personality, the removal or reversal of the “stain” left on the person’s character by sin. The true concern of the process of teshuvah is character building, the constant growth and perfection of personality, what the classical Musar writers (Hebrew ethicists) refer to as tikkun hamiddot (“correction of the [character] traits”), which is ultimately a life long project. It is in regard to this latter standard that Rambam articulates the concept of Teshuvah Gemurah—the quest for true, total, full repentance. Let's start changing in order to cling to Hashem and receive all the Blessings He has for us.
