I'm Awestricken!

Posted by Aryeh ben Avraham | Labels: , , , , , | Posted On Monday, 27 October 2008 at 13:44

On Friday, 24Th. October 2008, Rabbi Lazer Brody of Lazer Beams wrote the following article "Hashem's Magnificent Yom Kippur Miracle". This article has sort of been popping up constantly in my mind, and has made me see in awe, how merciful and patient Hashem is with His people. My beloved brethren, I beg we open our eyes and acknowledge what is going on around us and start a radical change in our lives. It's more than obvious that we are approaching the coming of Moshiach, so let us start preparing ourselves. It's time to start putting our faith in Hashem, for He is the only One that can save us; if your faith is placed on the IDF and the Zionist Government, then I must quite simply tell you, that you are in for the surprise of your life and a great deal of unnecessary suffering. All these world event that are happening, are just to show us, that He is King and that we are not to rely on money, social status, weapons, people, countries, governments, etc. We must also realise that we are, have and will be His chosen people, not to accept this fact is sheer stupidity (sorry for the expression), so therefor let us return to our holy roots and start placing our destiny in His hands and strengthen our emuna, Torah study, and mitzva observance. Hashem will fight our battles for us. Please accept the fact that when Hashem created us and took us out of the Egyptian bondage, it was to serve Him and live according to His Torah, not to live like the gentiles, Heaven forbid, but to be a light to the world. Having said this, I beg you return in teshuvah and start living like the Jew's we are supposed to be.
May Hashem have mercy with us. Aryeh ben Abraham

THE RETURN
OF
OUR SOLDIERS

Ehud (Udi) Goldwasser
(Ehud Ben Malka Goldwasser)

Eldad Regev of Kiryat Motzkin

May Hashem avenge the blood of Eldad and Ehud, and may their holy martyred souls rest in eternal peace.

MAY THEIR MEMORIES BE FOR A BLESSING AND MAY THEIR FAMILIES BE COMFORTED WITH ALL THE MOURNERS IN ZION AND IN JERUSALEM.

May Hashem bring Shalom to the Goldwasswer and Regev families and heal their broken hearts, and the hearts of all Israel.

O G-d of vengeance, Hashem; O G-d of vengeance, appear! Arise, O Judge of the earth, render recompense to the arrogant. Until when will the evil, O Hashem, until when will the evil exult?...with their own evil, He will strike them down; Hashem our G-d will strike them down!
Psalm 94

A prudent man foresees the evil that is coming!

Posted by Aryeh ben Avraham | Labels: , , , , , , , | Posted On Tuesday, 24 June 2008 at 21:04

By Aryeh ben Abraham
The collective perspective on the news, has been occupying my thoughts considerably, and I believe I have a responsibility to pass it on to you, my beloved brethren.
Eretz Yisrael is facing the very likely probability of its most dangerous war yet. And by all counts, it will be sooner rather than later.
And it won't be just Eretz Yisrael's problem. It will touch our life in ways we can imagine and in ways we don't want to imagine, though we live miles and oceans away from the Middle East.
Frankly speaking, we abroad (Diaspora) and those of you in Eretz Yisrael - MUST take heed of the biblical warning:
A prudent man foresees the evil that is coming, and prepares himself; but the foolish carry on, and suffer from it. Proverbs 22:3
Our mounting concern for what we see and feel is coming for Eretz Yisrael and Klal Yisrael demands that we prepare, lest we fall into the category of the "foolish" described in the proverb quoted above.
Frankly speaking, Eretz Yisrael needs our support NOW.
Hizbollah's greatly enlarged arsenal sits on Eretz Yisrael's northern border. Hamas routinely sends their operatives for training in Iran and Syria and the smuggling of arms and machinery continues despite what you read in certain media.
According to experts in the field, Iran already has access to nuclear warheads, as do other Arab nations.
So therefor beloved brethren, please start praying with "Kavana" in order to soften any harsh decree against Eretz Yisrael and Klal Yisrael.
As our beloved Rabbi Lazer Brody states, it's not with weapons, latest model jet's or sofisticated weapons that we are going to overcome our enemies, but with earnest PRAYER and EMUNAH
Hashem is only requesting that we have Emunah, Pray and let Him take care of the situation.
By no means must/can we put our trust in this anti-Torah, anti-Emunah Zionist Government, they are absolutely lost and don't have the faintest idea as to what to do; from the news, you can clearly see that they are going from one mistake to another.
Hashem is our One and Only Saviour, so stop looking around and start praying, studying Torah, doing Mitzvots, don't wait until tomorrow, then it might be to late.
If you want to wake up to another day, see your kids grow up, then please start PRAYING, return to Hashem, the Gates of Forgiveness are wide open for you. Tomorrow, may just be too late.

Only Prayer

Posted by Aryeh ben Avraham | Labels: , , , , , , , , , , , , , | Posted On Tuesday, 22 April 2008 at 19:14

Here you have beloved brethren, the only weapon that will defeat Eretz Ysrael's enemies, it is PRAYER, not weapons, or any person or army but simple sincere PRAYER from way deep within our heart.
We have to get hold of our sword (Emunah) and start praying (Tefillah) to Hashem, in order to clean the path so that Mosiach can come and deliver Klal Ysrael from our enemies.
Rabbi Lazer Brody from Lazer Beams has a woderful spiritual explanation about the threat against Israel and how to deal with it.

It’s Not Fun Being a Prophet - The True Prophets

Posted by Aryeh ben Avraham | Labels: , , , , , , , | Posted On Monday, 14 April 2008 at 21:38

8 Nissan 5768, 4/13/2008
By Tamar Yonah.
In continuation of a previous article I wrote talking about False Prophets, I would like to continue with who the real, true prophets are today.
While I agree that we do not have prophets today on the scale of our prophets of the Tanach (Bible), we still have many holy and righteous people proclaiming the word of G-d – to their peril.
If being a prophet of G-d was easy and prestigious, then we would not have had the story of Jonah and the Whale, where Jonah (Yonah) tried to run away from G-d and hide, in order NOT to be the one to have to relay G-d’s message to Nineveh. We also wouldn't read about Jeremiah being thrown into jail, and we wouldn’t have seen Elijah have to hide from King Ahab. It’s not fun being a prophet.
So, who are the people today that are proclaiming G-d’s words to the public, and how are they treated?
Rabbi Meir Kahane Z"L, who many believe was a modern day prophet, warned the Jewish people and the world about what would happen in the future regarding the Arab threat. Today we see that what he stated has come to pass. Read this book to find out what he said.
Today we see graffiti all over Israel spray painted on walls which states: "Kahane was right". Yet, what was Kahane’s life like as a modern day prophet? Let’s see, hmmm, Rabbi Kahane, in order to make ends meet, had to wake up before dawn and drive around in an old car and deliver news papers early in the morning. He had to take on extra work as a taxi driver (can you imagine hailing a taxi in New York and having Rabbi Kahane as your driver???). He became a sports writer - all this just to make ends meet. And finally, after starting the Jewish Defense League (JDL), he worked after hours, not in a plush complex, but in a small office in an old building, furnished only with a few worn wooden tables and chairs, an old typewriter, and for decoration, a few posters of Israel taped to the wall. Stacks of mimeographed JDL flyers sat stacked on the tables and a couple of telephones to make calls to organize protests sat on a desk. Rabbi Kahane was often roughed up and arrested by police at demonstrations and he had numerous court cases and charges brought against him for his activism on behalf of Soviet Jewry. Police broke his finger and battered his arm, and he had the FBI following him and making him trouble. In short, he didn’t have an easy or cushy life. He suffered for the mitzvah of 'Ahavat Yisrael', love for one's fellow Jew.
Who are the other prophets of today, people who are proclaiming G-d’s word?
The Tzvia Sariel’s of today. Tzvia is a young woman who recently turned 18 in jail here in Israel. She was arrested for her activism and was put in jail and held for 3 months because she refused to recognize the authority of the Israeli justice system which runs on laws that were left over from previous occupation forces like Britain and the Ottoman Empire. She boldly stated that she only recognizes Jewish law in Israel. Because of her strong stance, she was left in jail as a punishment, an ‘example’ to anyone else who might wish to reject the set of laws still existing in Israel today. Tzvia is a modern day prophet. She is someone who is not afraid to proclaim the truth that this Land was given to the Jewish people by G-d and that we have the right to settle in it anywhere we choose.
The thirteen to fifteen year old girls who were also in jail for refusing to identify themselves to the police, because they do not recognize their authority, are modern day prophets who are fighting and making a stance that G-d and His Torah are truth, and not this secular government which runs on foreign laws.
Nadia Matar, co-Chairman of Women in Green who organizes protests and fights for the Land of Israel, she is a true prophet. She was brought up on charges for insulting a public official, one who had voluntarily taken on a job which entailed transferring Jews out of their homes in Gush Katif in order that it be given over to the enemies of the Jewish people. She doesn't have an easy life. She gets castigated and roughed up by security forces for her activism. She is like a Deborah or Yael of yore, a brave Jewish woman who leaves her comfort zone to go out and protect the Jewish people and the Land of Israel.
All those today who stand for G-d and proclaim His word, no matter if they are scoffed at, have their bones broken, or sit in jail – THESE are the true prophets of today.
One would think that a prophet is someone who wears a long robe, has a long majestic beard and stands on a hill top and proclaims the word of G-d to an entranced crowd that shows him great honor. It is not so.
The true prophets of today do not have the title “President” in front of their names, like Shimon Peres has. They do not walk down red carpets. They do not socialize with the ‘Beautiful Elite People’. They do not receive honor, wear thousand dollar suits or receive fancy invitations to international galas. The true prophets of today are spat on, kicked around, castigated, arrested and sit in jail. They are people working three jobs, driving taxis, living on hill tops in tents or make shift housing because they live their belief of settling the Land of Israel. They are the people who get beat up at demonstrations and sit in jail. These are today’s true prophets.
In closing, I’d like to explain a passage from the book of Jeremiah. In 36:4-7, it talks about Jeremiah telling Baruch the son of Neriah, to transcribe all the words that G-d had spoken to Jeremiah on a scroll. Then Jeremiah tells Baruch: “And Jeremiah commanded to Baruch saying, “I am detained; I cannot go to the Temple of Hashem. So you go and read from the scroll, on which you have written the words of Hashem from my mouth, in the ears of the people…”
Now, what does it mean when Jeremiah says he was ‘detained’? What possibly could be more important than doing G-d’s word, going to the Holy Temple and reading to the people G-d’s word and imploring the people to repent? What was he detained with? Did he have an appointment with his manicurist? Did he have a lunch date with a business partner? Did he have a 12 step group meeting for Prophets Anonymous? What could be more important than doing G-d’s work?
The Radak, (Rabbi David Kimchi, one of our great Torah commentators) lets us understand about Jeremiah and his being ‘detained’. He writes: “As often happened, Jeremiah had been ARRESTED for his ‘demoralizing and seditious’ statements.” So, here we see that the King’s guards were sent to arrest the ‘rabble rouser prophet’ who preached unpopular messages to the people, messages the King and his ministers did not like. And in our day, Rabbi Kahane, Nadia Matar, and all the others who stand for G-‘s word, they too, like Jeremiah, are castigated, arrested, and have to sit in jail. It's not fun being a prophet.
Not much has changed, has it?

Shimon Peres Exposed!

Posted by Aryeh ben Avraham | Labels: , , , , , , | Posted On Wednesday, 9 April 2008 at 19:37

This is simply outrageous, here you have what our government thinks of G_d and His Torah.
At last, now the government is showing exactly what they are, and what they think of what Eretz Yisrael should be, and are working diligently towards that goal.
Beloved, it's time that all the Orthodox Rabbinate get together and get Klal Yisrael to unite and make this government and the whole political establishment resign.
How can this be done, well to start of, why not have all Klal Yisrael stay home and not show up to work.
Offices, public services, schools, universities, everybody just simply stay home until these people resign.
Then have the Rabbinate, start puting order in Eretz Yisrael, by evicting all the Arabs.
Then destroy the Dome and all constructions that desecrate our Holy Land.
You probably think I'm out of my mind or under some high substance, nope, none whatsoever, simply these are things which should have been done a long time ago, and as they have not, we are paying the consequences now.
Make it very clear to the Arab World, that if they continue to harass us and kill our brethren, we shall recuperate the Holy Land that was given wrongly to them.
You will probably be thinking we are going to have the whole world on top of us, yes one way or the other, we will have the world on top of us, but you know it doesn't matter one bit as Hashem will be with us once again.
And lastly, this whole affair can be handled without one drop of blood, Heaven forbid that a Jew extend his hand against another Jew.
Now see with your own eyes and hear with your ears, what Shimon Peres is teaching our youth.
Shimon Peres tells Israeli youth that history is irrelevant, borders and land are the past, and science and technology alone are the future.
"G-d makes us crazy," he says, and tells us mankind has found new partners in science and technology that are much more dependable.
He tells youth not to listen to their parents or their teachers (those that actually love and care about them the most) and that they should look towards a new world, a new reality.
History, Torah, and heritage should be stored on a computer to be remembered, states Peres, but that youth should forget the past and look towards a "new world" and a new future.
Peres instructs that land and borders are "old world" and simply cause wars.
If by any chance there are any mistakes in the composition, please bear with me, as I just feel very upset about this.

Emergency Message by Rav Shalom Arush

Posted by Aryeh ben Avraham | Labels: , , | Posted On at 18:17

In the meanwhile, here is an original Hebrew fresh-off-the-press recording of Rav Shalom Arush shlit'a, who has asked us to spread this message far and wide. In the coming hours, G-d willing, we'll summarize the Rav's key points in English.
Kindly click here.
Emuna News headlines:
* A high ranking IDF general has admitted that Israel has no defense against a biological or chemical attack; * One of Israel's highest commanders has confessed that Israel has no answer to a joint Syrian-Hizbolla-Iranian missile barage; * There is no deterrence to a nuclear Iran. * Just a few hours ago, terrorists from Gaza succeeded in penetrating Israel and killed two civilians.
Rav Shalom Arush's key points:
* Hashem has brought us to a wonderful situation where there is no one to depend on but Him, for there is no political or military solution to the Israeli-Arab conflict. * Our only power is prayer and emuna. * Israel is in grave danger, since Hashem has turned His countenance away. * There's nothing left to do but to cry out to Hashem and to spread emuna far and wide - no Jew in the world is exempt from the obligation to wake up, yell to the Heavens. * The Lubavitcher Rebbe had 100% holy spirit - his warnings have materialized to the letter. The Rebbe said that the minute you give one millimeter of Eretz Yisrael to the Arabs, the tables will turn - rather than Hashem performing miracles for us, He will turn His countenance on us until we wake up and make teshuva. That's the situation we are in today. * Hashem loves the people of Israel - that's why He's put us in a situation where no one can help us but Him. * The martyrs of Mercaz HaRav were a substitute for a harsh judgment that demanded the lives of maybe 80,000 Jews or more.

Israel faces its greatest existential threat in its history.

Posted by Aryeh ben Avraham | Labels: , , , , | Posted On Thursday, 27 March 2008 at 22:37

Just finished reading Rabbi Lazer Brody's, Emuna News Special Report: The Sword on Israel's Jugular. Which states the following:
Israel faces its greatest existential threat in its history. At this very moment, every single city, town, and village between the northern border and Dimona is a push-button away from oblivion, for the triple menace of missiles from Syria, Hizbollah, and Iran rest like a sharp sword on Israel's Jugular.
Complete article.
Is there anything we can do? Most of us are hundreds or thousands of miles away, in our own communities; yet our very being cries out: What can we do?
Here my dear brethren are some ideas that we can start putting into action immediately.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, taught us that, yes, there is something we can do.
The Rebbe taught us the power of a mitzvah.
A mitzvah, a G-dly deed, has the power to reach deep into the core of our being--where we are all one, and the physical distance between us is of no consequence. At this core, a positive deed on our part will help bring salvation to a brother and sister in distress.
During past conflicts in the Land of Israel, and during times of danger for the Jewish people, the Rebbe made practical suggestions of mitzvot that would elicit G-d's blessings and protection.
Let us not underestimate the power of good! With a single good deed on our part, here and now, we can each contribute toward the victory and safety of our fellow Jews in Israel.
Take a minute to do one or more of the following. You can make a difference!
Torah study Say a prayer for the soldiers of the IDF, and for all residents of the Holy Land (suggestion: Psalm 20 is traditionally said in times of distress). Charity and acts of kindness: Put a coin in a charity box, give a gift of money to a fellow in need or to a charitable cause, or extend a helping hand to someone who needs it. Tefillin: If you already put on tefillin every day, encourage a friend to do so. If you don't yet, now is a good time to start!. Mezuzah: If you don't yet have a mezuzah get one now! If you already do have one, it may be time to have it checked to ensure that the words on the parchment have not faded. Tzitzit: start wearing tzitzit even during the night, and even while sleeping.

As Rabbi Brody Say's "Let's invoke Divine compassion by turning the tides of assimilation and spiritual contamination with a worldwide return to Hashem. Our lives depend on it".

'The entire country is in need of mercy'

Posted by Aryeh ben Avraham | Labels: , , , , , , | Posted On Friday, 7 March 2008 at 17:01

The head of the yeshiva, Rabbi Yaakov Shapira was the first to speak:

"We are all in need of mercy, the entire country," Shapira cried.

"Pray for all of us and give good counsel to the families, to the anguished friends."

Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar was weeping as well. "We have paid with our best boys, who were sitting by their talmuds … torah was their entire world, they are the roses that have been picked … and God will have mercy on us for their merit.

Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski also addressed the crowd:

"Lord, nations have invaded your land, desecrated your holy hall, eight of our sweet loved ones, may God avenge their blood, who only yesterday were living amongst us, are no longer with us. Their lives were severed by lowly murderers … but the murderer did not wish to target them alone, but rather each and every one of us, each and every resident of the holy city of Jerusalem.

For many years our enemies have been trying to ruin our lives, to harm us as much as they can. Jerusalem has paid heavily in blood, and the long long list was joined last night by our eight sons."

We need your help! Please support CCHF in our annual Dinner drive!

Posted by Aryeh ben Avraham | Labels: , , , , | Posted On at 12:20

Dear Friend,
The Chofetz Chaim told us that the mitzvah of Shmiras Haloshon is the master key to Klal Yisrael’s destiny – so much so that he actually said that it is the single most important step to bringing the Geulah.
With great Siyata D’shmaya we have merited to engineer the largest initiative for Shmiras Haloshon in history. Our goal for the coming year is to raise the number of students using our materials on a daily basis by 30%.
And that’s why I’m writing to you today, to invite you to help us with our Annual Dinner Campaign which is the main fundraising event for CCHF for the entire year. The Dinner will IY”H be held on Monday, March 17, 2008, at the Museum for Jewish Heritage in New York City. We have extended the deadline for ads to March 10, 2008.
Today, over 20,000 elementary and high school students are actively involved in our school programs, and another 30,000 have been touched by our work. Our worldwide events, books, tapes, Chazak Inspiration Line, and 38 other programs, products and services have had a powerful impact on tens of thousands of men, women and children in homes, shuls, schools, and communities across the country and around the world. The feedback we get from teachers and parents alike is overwhelmingly positive.
The net effect of all our programs is that the mitzvah of Shmiras Haloshon has been permanently changed for the better. I invite you to acquire that z’chus by supporting our dinner campaign at this crucial time.
Please download the ad blank from www.torahsponsor.org to place as generous an ad in the Commemorative Dinner Journal as you possibly can, and to make your reservation for the dinner, today. By doing so, you can continue your partnership in helping Klal Yisrael reach our ultimate, collective goal, that of bringing the final Geulah! I hope to personally see you at the dinner.
Sincerely,

Michael Rothschild
